is the ICT4COP Project Administrator, and the leader of Work Package 1: Project Management and Coordination. She established internal management procedures together with partners’ management- and financial contacts, put in place systems for monitoring, assessment and mitigation of risks and she organized and implemented financial reporting procedures. Ingunn also managed regular international project events as well as unforeseen issues and she was the project’s liaison with the European Commission.
Ingunn Andersen has over 23 years of experience in the coordination, reporting and communication aspects of international development research and research projects from a variety of national and international funding sources. She has a Master’s degree in Sociology from Costa Rica, and served for 11 years as MSc program coordinator at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU) where she established and administered several institutional collaboration programs in research and education. She then spent four years as Senior Advisor for Development Coordination at the Norwegian Embassy in Nicaragua for the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Since 2012 she has been employed as Senior Research Advisor at NMBU, with the last five years as the Administrative Coordinator for the EC Horizon 2020 research- and innovation project ICT4COP. She has extensive knowledge of international research in collaboration with the European Commission and the EU system, as well as in Norwegian public- and civil society organizations.
Ingunn’s main fields of knowledge and experience are; international cooperation and research administration, coordination and cooperation with public, private, and civil society institutions, planning and implementation of international events, process management, and the different institutional rules and regulations for international research collaboration.
