contributed to the ICT4COP as a researcher on the Afghanistan case. He conducted extensive qualitative field research in several provinces, in both rural and urban areas, and co-authored several articles on COP in Afghanistan, with particular focus on local institutions, youth and technology.
Ajmal Nimruzi is a social researcher based in Kabul, Afghanistan. He has a Master’s degree in Peace-Building and Conflict Analysis. He has been conducting research in Afghanistan since 2013 in various fields including governance, local councils and community policing. He has contributed several peer-reviewed academic papers to various international journals. He is currently a Senior Researcher with Kabul-based Organization for Policy Research and Development Studies (DROPS).
